My interest in massage began when I was a teenager. I battled off and on with stress, depression, headaches and muscular dysfunction. I did not understand the benefits of massage at the time but something about it truly intrigued me. I decided to start school in January of 2007. I worked full time while attending school at Cortiva Humanities Center. I managed to graduate with Excellence in early 2008. Upon graduating, I received my Certification in Neuromuscular Therapy including Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Muscle Energy Techniques.

I have really honed my skills in these therapies and created my own unique style. I would encourage anybody experiencing pain, discomfort, headaches or anything related to try this therapy. It will work. I have had the opportunity to see many people positively affected by this treatment including myself.

I also specialize in Pregnancy Massage. This modality is very close to my heart. I am a member of the Tampa Bay Birth Network where I also volunteer some of my time as the Membership Coordinator. I received my certification in Pregnancy Massage in June 2008. In my 32 hour class we learned to incorporate different techniques into a massage that would directly influence specific pregnant needs. In my pregnancy massage I use some Decongesting techniques, Acupressure, Ranges of Motion and Reflexology. I also use Relaxation/Swedish techniques to help relax the mind and body. Many people are weary about Pregnancy Massage because they lack the knowledge needed to proceed with confidence and understanding. Please go to the Pregnancy Massage Myths for more information. I encourage all pregnant women to research and try massage. It can and will supplement your healthcare needs.

Currently, I live in Zephyrhills with my husband and two dogs; Sammy and Bella. I am running my own practice in the Tampa Bay Area. I keep a flexible schedule and value my client’s time and individual goals. My ultimate aspiration for massage is that people give it a try. I have personally overcome stress, depression, headaches and musclular dysfunction through the touch of massage. I no longer have to live in an uncomfortable body and either do you. I know that you can benefit just as much as I have. I love my career. I love it when I get the chance to share with others the passion I have discovered and the skills I have obtained.
